Dr. PHAUK Sokkhey graduated his bachelor degree in Mathematics from the Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2010, a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand in 2013. Dr. Sokkhey obtained his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Intelligent Systems majoring in Data Science from University of the Ryukyus, Japan in 2021. He is currently a head of department of applied mathematics and statistics (AMS) and a Program Coordinator of Master in Data Science at Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC). In ITC, he teaches courses in Probability and Statistics, Applied Statistics, Exploratory Data Analysis, Machine Learning and Data Science, and Data Visualization. He has published 10+ research papers in the fields of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics. His current research interests are predictive modelling, educational data mining, and data science in agriculture.
